Hi ppl, today I am 22 years old, and this site is 2 years old. Once again special TNX to my friends and hosting partners GEMstudio.
I just need to add something in WIP page, change header image, and add some stuff in sidebar, rest of the site is done.
We are going to see in this tutorial how to create lettice in 3D Studio Max.
Step 1
Create a Cylinder and decrease the Sides to 3, to get something like it is shown on the picture 1.

Step 2
Choose that three sides and extrude them. Watch out! For Extrusion Type select By Polygon. See the picture below.

Step 3
Connect the edge of every sides like it is shown on the picture below.

Step 4
Now, move the points (Vertex) of the new edges like it is shown on the picture below.

Step 5
Choose every polygons from every sides and delete them.

Step 6
Choose Tools > Array. On the following picture, you can see the values that I have used. Your values, maybe will be a little different. It’s important that you create array for x-coordinate. In my example, the Incremental is on X 2.7 and Count 40. See the picture below.

Step 7
Select now the whole 40 (or whatever you put) parts of array and create one more array, but for this time, do that for y-coordinate.

Step 8
Now, move that new made array on the left or right, to get a closed-end holes like it is shown on the picture below.

Step 9
Choose now the booth arrays (all parts) and create another, new array. We again create on y-coordinate. For this time, the number of new count is 10.

Step 10
Now, you have something like it is shown on the picture below. Attach now the entire parts and choose the all points (Vertex). Choose Weld and increase slightly until you see that the edge points are attaching in one point.

I have uploaded some of my works in gallery.
I have installed wordpress and uploaded theme, just couple more tweaks and it’s done..
